Configuring the optical port on an H3C switch

This displays the link status, negotiation speed, transceiver type, and traffic statistics . To view all ports at once, use:
display interface brief
Ensure the link shows UP and the transceiver is properly recognized. If the link is down, verify that the SFP module is firmly inserted and the wavelength matches the connected device .

- Enable fiber mode during a maintenance window to avoid disrupting traffic .

- Confirm VLAN and MAC address bindings if required for network security .
