In single-phase domestic setups, the main supply is connected to a double-pole MCB, which then feeds the RCCB and subsequently the output MCBs for individual loads .

• DB Panel: The enclosure that protects internal components from dust, water, and mechanical damage .
• Main MCB (Double Pole): Acts as the main switch and provides overcurrent protection.
• Single-Pole MCBs: Protect individual circuits.

Installation Steps

3. Wiring:

   • Connect the output of the RCCB to the input terminals of the individual MCBs.
   • Connect the neutral wires of all circuits to the neutral link and earth wires to the earth link .
4. Cable Management: Ensure neat routing, proper insulation, and correct wire gauge. Avoid crossing live and neutral wires unnecessarily.
5. Labeling: Clearly label each MCB and circuit for easy identification and future maintenance .
